Ringnes A/S traces its roots back to 1876, when the brewery was established by the brothers Amund and Ellef Ringnes and Axel Heiberg. Today (2013), Ringnes is Norway’s largest brewery holding a market share of 53%.

The brewery has been part of the Carlsberg Group since 2000.

Munkholm is the largest alcohol-free beer brand in Norway and has been in the market since 1991.

Owns several other breweries in Norway. Among others E.C. Dahls, Nordlandsbryggeriet, Arendals Bryggeriet (Since 1839), TOU Bryggeri and Imsdal.

E.C. Dahls was merger between Nora Fabrikker and Ringnes Frydenlund in 1988.

 

Arendals Pilsner
Double IPA made with European style hops. Heavily dry hopped in the aging tank for the extra hop taste and aroma. Made from Marris Otter malt, wheat malt and Crystal malt.
