(Bamberg)

St. Michaelsberg® are tradmark of United Beverage (2012). It is also a castle in Bamberg. Used to be a brewery but to it is only a brewery museum.

One of oldest mentions of brewing in Bamberg comes from a 1122 proclamation by Bishop Otto I of Bamberg. He granted the Benedictines of Michaelsberg the right to brew beer for sale.

The brewery closed in 1969.
