Cosmos is a part of ThaiBev, a company witch have roots back to 1786.

ThaiBev was founded on 29 October 2003 with the consolidation of 58 beer and spirits businesses, among them Chang beer.

Chang Beer was owned by TCC

Chang Beer is the product of a joint venture, which was formed in 1991 to brew Carlsberg Beer in Thailand, between the TCC Group and Carlsberg. Carlsberg left the joint venture in 2005.

Introduced 1994. The word Chang translates as Elephant.

Chang Beer was launched in cooperation with Carlsberg Breweries of Denmark.
