A Carlsberg brewery


John L. Skantze found the brewery in the city Falkenberg 1895. Bought by Pripps and later (1986) a part of Carlsberg Brewerys

D. Carnegie Porter
David Carnegie Jr came to Göteborg 1830 to work in his uncles company D. Carnegie & Co. Six years later (23 years old) he bought the Lorentska Bruken on a liquidationauction. Here he got a suckerrefining factory and a porterbrewery. In 1845 David Carnegie moved back to England, but keept the company.

1928 began Pripps to brew the porter, and continiued the Carnegie brewery ontil 1976. Today Carnegie porter are brewed in Falkenberg.
