Fix Brewery

Hellenic Breweries, Greece

Founded 1864 by Mr. Fuchs. The first domestic brewed beer in Greece. The brewery cloced in 1983.

In 1983 the brewery went bankrupt, the rights of the brand passed to the National Bank of Greece, in 1985 an attempt was made to revive the brand but it failed.

But the brand name re-emerged in 1997 after Olympic Breweries purchased the rights. Hellenic Breweries of Atalanti (opened 1990) also use the name Fix.

The name also lives in USA by Fix USA who are brewing Fix 1864.
