Founded 1899. Braník Brewery was founded by a group of brewmasters from small historical breweries in 1899 under the name "Corporate Brewery of Prague Brewmasters".

Braník is a district in Prague located in the south of the city, on the east bank of the river Vltava.

Branik is today a part of Staropramen. The production at the brewery ended in 2002.
