It begins in the Belgian city of Leuven with a brewery called Den Horen (the Horn) dating back to 1366. In 1987, a merger of the Brasseries Artois and Piedboeuf, creates the Brasserie Interbrew. Hoegaarden was taken over by Interbrew in 1987. Belle-Vue Brewery was founded in 1913 by Philémon Vandenstock. The brewery became part of InBev in 1991. |
