Inspired by old brewer's manuals, Bart Luts of Brouwhuys de Vaart gave up his job to recreate the forgotten beer in Leuven under the new name 'Luvanium'. Based on the original ingredients and old flavour descriptions this instant classic has the same mild taste as its ancestor. Unmalted wheat and oats provide a fresh, round and creamy taste. Traditional floor malt adds its complex character. Luvanium is an unfiltered, high-fermented belgian blonde beer refermented in the bottle with 7.5% vol. alcohol. Brewed by Brouweij Anders. |
