We met in May 2002, during the second edition of the Zinneke parade in Brussels, for which Bernard created the now famous Zinnebir.
Yvan De Baets et Bernard Leboucq started as professional brewers in 2003, building a microbrewery in Sint-Pieters-Leeuw, in the old Moriau brewery. The named it "Sint-Pieter Brouwerij". Two years later they moved at made Brasserie de la Senne.
